Across is one of the partner bridges Robinhood points users to for getting assets onto Robinhood Chain, and its design is the reason it is worth singling out. Rather than locking funds and waiting on a slow canonical path, Across uses an intent-based model: a user states what they want on the destination chain, and a competitive network of relayers fronts the assets immediately and is reimbursed later, which makes deposits into Robinhood Chain fast at the cost of depending on active relayer liquidity. Robinhood's own bridging documentation names Across next to the canonical Arbitrum bridge, LI.FI, Relay, Stargate and Chainlink CCIP, which places it firmly in the sanctioned set rather than as a third-party workaround. The position to take is that Across is the pragmatic fast lane and the canonical Arbitrum bridge is the trust-minimised slow lane, and users should choose deliberately: for a quick swap of ETH or stablecoins into the chain to start trading, an intent bridge like Across is the right tool; for moving size where finality guarantees matter more than speed, the canonical route is safer. What the primary sources do not yet give is an Across-authored Robinhood Chain announcement with named contract deployments, so the specific SpokePool address and supported asset pairs on the chain remain to confirm.
