# Blockscout

*The explorer engine behind Robinhood Chain's canonical block explorer.*

Blockscout is the block explorer of record for Robinhood Chain, and unlike some 'powered by' claims elsewhere, this one is unambiguous: the canonical explorer lives at robinhoodchain.blockscout.com on a Blockscout subdomain, it has been live since block one, and there is a matching testnet explorer at explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com. Blockscout is the open-source explorer used across thousands of EVM networks, so this is a well-trodden deployment rather than a bespoke build, and for a chain whose whole pitch is tokenised equities that reassurance matters — the explorer is where a user confirms that the AAPL or NVDA token they hold sits at the canonical contract address and not a lookalike. The position to take is that Blockscout is a genuinely load-bearing piece of the chain's trust surface, not a nice-to-have: on a permissionless chain already seeing honeypot and scam-token activity, the explorer's token pages and verified-source display are the first-line defence a careful user has for distinguishing a real Robinhood-issued asset from an impostor. Practically, it gives three things worth knowing about: a live UI for blocks, transactions and addresses; token pages covering ERC-20/721/1155; and programmatic access via REST/API endpoints plus a Blockscout Pro API for teams building data products on top of the chain. The one caveat is simply to confirm you are on the robinhoodchain.blockscout.com domain, because third-party explorers under lookalike names also exist.
