# Chainlink

*The oracle and cross-chain layer under Robinhood Chain's Stock Tokens.*

Chainlink is the pricing and interoperability spine of Robinhood Chain, and its role here is unusually load-bearing. On 1 July 2026 Robinhood named Chainlink the official oracle and cross-chain infrastructure provider for the chain and for every Robinhood-issued asset on it, shipping three products at once: Data Feeds, Data Streams, and CCIP. Data Feeds matter most, because Robinhood's Stock Tokens are ERC-20 debt securities whose onchain price has to track a real equity — NVDA, GOOG, AAPL and roughly a hundred others — and Chainlink is what supplies that reference. Data Streams add a low-latency pull-based feed aimed at higher-frequency trading and settlement, and CCIP is the sanctioned route for moving Stock Tokens and messages between Robinhood Chain and outside networks. The position to take is that this is a single-provider dependency at the exact centre of the chain's value proposition: if the equities are the product, the oracle that prices them is not a peripheral integration, it is the product's trust anchor. That cuts both ways. Chainlink is the most battle-tested oracle in the industry and the obvious choice for a regulated issuer that cannot afford a mispricing, so the decision is defensible. But readers evaluating counterparty risk should treat the oracle layer, not the sequencer, as the thing most worth watching: a stale or manipulated feed on a debt token that people are using as DeFi collateral is a more plausible failure mode than a consensus bug on a chain that settles to Ethereum. The integration is announced and corroborated across Robinhood's and Chainlink's own channels; exact feed addresses and the full CCIP lane list are the details still worth confirming against the contract registry.

## Key facts

- **Role on Robinhood Chain:** Official oracle and cross-chain infrastructure provider for the chain and all Robinhood-issued assets, announced at the 1 July 2026 mainnet launch. _(confidence 93%)_
- **Three products, day one:** CCIP, Data Streams, and Data Feeds are all live on Robinhood Chain from launch. _(confidence 90%)_
- **Data Feeds:** Supply the onchain reference prices for tokenised equities such as NVDA, GOOG and AAPL. _(confidence 90%)_
- **Data Streams:** Deliver low-latency market data aimed at high-frequency trading and settlement flows. _(confidence 85%)_
- **CCIP:** Moves Stock Tokens and cross-chain messages between Robinhood Chain and external networks. _(confidence 88%)_
- **Why it is load-bearing:** Robinhood's Stock Tokens are Chainlink-priced ERC-20 debt securities, so the feed is the token's trust anchor rather than a peripheral service. _(confidence 82%)_
