# MetaMask

MetaMask is the most widely used self-custody EVM wallet and connects to Robinhood Chain via custom network configuration (mainnet chain ID 4663). MetaMask's maker is also a co-founder, with Robinhood and Fireblocks, of the Open Transaction Layer (OTL) coordination standard for on-chain finance, giving it a role beyond a generic EVM connection.
