# Rialto

*An onchain spot exchange that routes tokenized equities, ETFs and commodities to best execution across PropAMM sources.*

Rialto is the chain's best-execution layer, and getting its role right requires clearing up a naming tangle that the launch coverage muddled. Rialto is an onchain spot exchange, emerged from stealth, that trades tokenized equities, ETFs, commodities, and digital assets by routing each order to the best available price. Its defining liquidity source is the PropAMM — a proactive market maker that quotes from its own inventory and pricing logic rather than a passive constant-product pool. When an order arrives, Rialto polls candidate sources, including PropAMMs and traditional DEX pools, and ranks them by net output after network costs. That is aggregation with a smarter liquidity primitive attached. The confusion worth flagging: Robinhood's day-one materials also name Pleiades as a proprietary prop-AMM venue, and some coverage blurs the two. They are not the same. Pleiades is a distinct prop-trading venue; Rialto is a routing exchange that uses PropAMM-style sources among others. For a young chain where liquidity is thin and fragmented across Uniswap, PancakeSwap, and a long tail, a genuine best-execution router is one of the more useful things that can exist — it turns fragmentation into a single good fill. The caveats are that Rialto is days old with tiny reported revenue (about $6.19k gross quarter-to-date), that its edge depends entirely on the depth and honesty of the PropAMM quotes it routes to, and that public documentation is still thin. Promising primitive, unproven at scale.
