Honeypot token

A honeypot token is a malicious token whose contract lets buyers in but blocks or taxes selling, so the value can only flow to the deployer. On a permissionless chain like Robinhood Chain, anyone can deploy one, and third-party warnings about honeypots and lookalike tickers appeared within days of launch. Verifying a token's contract address against Robinhood's registry before trading is the basic defence.
