Sequencer

The sequencer is the service that orders transactions on Robinhood Chain and produces its roughly 100ms blocks before batches are posted to Ethereum. Robinhood operates it, which makes the chain operationally centralised at launch despite the permissionless branding: the sequencer decides inclusion and ordering, and if it stalls, the chain stalls. It orders on a first-come, first-served basis with no fee-based priority.
